Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli made his record 100th appearance in the T20 internationals. Just after appearing on the ground in India’s first match of Asia Cup 2022 against Pakistan, Kohli has now become the first-ever Indian to play 100 international matches in all formats of the game. Apart from that, he is only the second batter in the world to achieve this feat after the former legendary New Zealand batter Ross Taylor.
The 33-year-old made his comeback to international cricket after a break of almost over a month. He played a crucial knock of 35 runs off 34 balls with three boundaries and a six to his name. Eventually, India won the nail-biting thriller against Pakistan with a margin of five wickets.
Apart from the action, a video of Virat Kohli has recently made it to the headlines of social media. In this video, the veteran right-hander can be seen gifting his signed jersey to the star Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf who was also a part of this match between two Asian giants.

Hardik Pandya crossed the line for India with a match-defining all-round performance
Earlier, Pakistan posted a total of 147 runs in 19.5 overs with the help of a 43-run knock from star opening batter Mohammad Rizwan. Indian bowlers did a brilliant job in the first innings as senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped four wickets by conceding 26 runs in his quota of four overs. Other than him, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya also scalped three wickets.
While chasing the target, India crossed the line in 19.4 overs with the match-defining half-century partnership for the fifth wicket between star all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya. Pandya finished the match in a style with a massive six when India needed six runs off the last three balls. He played a knock 33 runs off just 17 balls and won the award for his all-around performance.
