“I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favorite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment,” reads the caption of a video post posted by Kohli.

Following this video and dissatisfaction from Kohli, the renowned names of the cricketing fraternity also reacted to the same.

“This is ridiculous, totally unacceptable. Was this Perth?” commented senior Australian batter, David Warner. Famous Australian sports journalist Chloe Amanda Bailey also reacted to the same and wrote in the comment section of the post, “This is absolutely appalling. I hope management takes swift action and puts better controls in place. Sorry, this happened to you.”

Now, Virat Kohli will be seen in action with the Indian team in their next match against Bangladesh on the 2nd of November at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
