Apart from the action of the match, there was something that happened during the run chase of Brisbane in the second innings, and it later went viral on social media within minutes of being posted on the social media platform, Twitter.

It all happened in the 10th over of the innings when Sydney skipper introduced Lea Tahuhu into the attack and Grace Harris of Heat was supposed to face her. On the first ball of the over, Harris already came in the position to hit a scoop on Tahuhu but unfortunately, it went on to hit the wicketkeeper, Tahlia Wilson, on her head and went deflected towards the point in the hands of Amy Jones. So, it was the end of Harris’ 7-run knock of 10 balls.

Here's the video:

Speaking of the match, Brisbane was given the target of 140 runs in 20 overs, but the rain happened to play a villain in the match. At the time of rain, Brisbane had scored 120 runs for the loss of five wickets, and they won the match by 3 runs according to the DLS method. Heat’s Amelia Kerr won the ‘player of the match award for her 22-run knock and one wicket scalped with the ball.

After this loss, things will be difficult for Thunders ahead in the tournament as they were already in the sixth spot before this match. Whereas on the other hand, Brisbane has improved their points in the tally as they were in the second spot before this clash against Sydney.
