India eventually won the match by 40 runs and qualified for the Super Fours round. Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav joined hands to produce an unbeaten partnership of 98 runs for the third wicket in the first innings. Post-match, the Delhi-born had a quick chat with the player of the match, Yadav and asked if he wanted to hit 6 sixes in an over.

This comes after Suryakumar Yadav smashed the first three balls of the final over of the first innings for maximums. Fans hoped that he would eventually end up smashing six sixes in an over and the Hong Kong bowlers prevented it by coming up with a short ball.

The Mumbai batter replied cheekily saying that he doesn't want to get past Yuvraj Singh's record. The Indian veteran then recalled the left-hander's six sixes against Stuart Broad and praised him for the same.

"I was trying my best. But, let's not get past Yuvi paa," Yadav said to which Kohli replied, "That was a magical over, especially against Broad. That was stunning."
