Talking about cricket, India has reached the semi-finals of the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup where they will lock horns with Jos Buttler’s English team to make a cut to the title clash of the marquee tournament.

In the last super-12 match against Zimbabwe, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first at the turf of Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.  Riding on the brilliant half-century knocks from KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav, the men in blue posted a big total of 186 runs for the loss of five wickets.

While defending the target, Indian bowlers completely outmuscled the Zimbabwean batting lineup with only a score of 115 runs and helped India to register a win by a massive margin of 71 runs.

Ravichandran Ashwin managed to end up as the leading wicket-taker of the second innings for India as he took 3 wickets by conceding 22 runs in his quota of four overs.
