Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan is one of the most loved athletes in Pakistan. He is not the one who gets into any off-the-field controversies. In the last one and a half years, he has established himself as the first-choice wicketkeeper batter across formats. Currently, he is in Sri Lanka as his national team has landed in the island nation for a two-match Test series.

Talking about the game, the Dimuth Karunaratne-led side won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they couldn't take the advantage of batting first. They were all-out on 222 runs with Shaheen Afridi taking four wickets, Hasan Ali and Yasir Shah two each while Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz took one each. At one stage, the Lankan Lions were tottering at 133/8.

A half-century from Dinesh Chandimal (76) and Maheesh Theekshana's 38 helped the team reach 222. In reply, the Babar Azam's men had a poor start. They lost the wickets of Abdullah Shafique and Imam-Ul-Haq before the stumps. At the time of writing, Day Two started after a rain delay. Azhar Ali, who was batting with his skipper, has been trapped lbw by Prabhat Jayasuriya. The visitors are currently 92-7.

Yasir Shah and Azam are batting at the crease and will be looking to build a big partnership. The team is trailing by 130 runs and will be looking to get a lead in the first innings. Pakistan wouldn't want to chase a big total on a ground where teams batting first have won most games.
