Watch: Bangladesh bowler copies Allu Arjun's Pushpa style while celebrating in BPL 2022

Contrary to what people believe, it isn't just the Bollywood movies that get popular outside India. Owing to the large fanbase of Tollywood movies, there are several Telugu movies that are loved by many people across the globe. The most recent example is that of Allu Arjun's latest movie Pushpa: The Rise.

It has become such a massive hit that the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League saw a bowler copy a movie from the movie, to celebrate a wicket. This occurred during the second innings of the third match between  Comilla Victorians and Shylet Sunrisers.

After getting bundled for 96, the Shylet's Nazmul Islam was bowling an economical spell, and trying his best to contain the opposition. During the 16th over, the Victorians' Shohidul Islam tried to take the aggressive route. The batter hit a firm drive and expected the ball to go for at least a boundary

However, it wasn't to be as Ravi Bopara ended up taking up taking a spectacular catch to dismiss him. The all-rounder dived across to his left to take an absolute stunner.

What followed was Islam copying Allu Arjun's signature pose from the movie Pushpa. It was the "Thaggede le" pose. For those who are unaware of the term, "Thaggede le" is basically a catchphrase that was the actor's signature dialogue in the movie. Thus, the fans of the Telugu actor loved the Bangladesh cricketer's celebration. This resulted in the video of his celebration going viral as well.

In the meanwhile, despite a batting collapse, the Kayes-led side managed to chase the total with eight balls remaining. However, although they had to chase a modest target of 97, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and struggled to get there in the end. Nevertheless, Nahidul Islam went on to Win the Player of the match award for his spell.
