Mumbai are currently enduring the toughest time in the history of the Indian T20 League 2022. They have played six matches and haven’t won a single game thus far in the tournament.

Rohit Sharma and Co. are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table. You don’t often see the most successful franchise not winning a single game out of their first six matches.

One of the biggest reasons behind their failure has been the lackluster bowling unit. The bowling unit has failed to hit the straps. Barring Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai have, perhaps, no one to rely upon.

The spin department is pretty weak, while the fast bowlers aren’t bowling well in the powerplay or at the death.

Meanwhile, Mumbai, recently, uploaded a video of Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar ripping off Ishan Kishan’s stump in the nets. Mumbai shared the video on Youtube and fans seemed pretty impressed.

In the video, Arjun Tendulkar was seen bowling a toe-crushing yorker to Ishan Kishan. The southpaw, who was late to judge the length of the bowl had his stumps rattled.

"You ain't missing if your name is Arjun," Mumbai Indians wrote as the caption on the YouTube post.

After witnessing his bowling exploits in the nets, the fans have urged the franchise to include him in the playing XI. Given how the likes of Jaydev Unadkat and Tymal Mills are performing this season, Arjun Tendulkar might get a chance to make his debut for Mumbai.

Sachin Tendulkar’s son was bought by the franchise at the Indian T20 League 2021 auction. However, he didn’t play a single game. Ahead of the start of the ongoing season, the franchise, once again, acquired his services at the Mega Auction but he is yet to make his debut.

Mumbai are scheduled to play their next game against Chennai on Thursday at DY Patil Sports Academy. They would be looking to register their first win of this season.
