Pakistan ended up dominating day 1 of the second Test against England. Both teams played this match at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. The visitors’ captain Ben Stokes won the flip of the coin and asked his batters to take the charge first. But Pakistan Cricket team’s young debutant Abrar Ahmed had some other plans on the day.

In the same line of shocking events for the three lions, Abrar gave another shock when he completely trapped the opponent skipper Ben Stokes on a googly on the third ball of the 43rd over in England's innings.

The 24-year-old’s magical delivery went on to take off the bails of Ben Stokes. Subsequently, the English skipper was in an extreme state of shock after falling prey to the young prodigy. The video of Stokes’ reaction has now viral over social media within a few seconds of being shared on the social media platform, Twitter.

Talking about the action of the first day of the Multan Test, the skipper Babar Azam and middle-order batter, Saud Shakeel are sojourning there in the middle on the individual scores of 61 and 32 runs respectively. Pakistan ended up the game of day 1 on the score of 107 runs for the loss of two wickets in 28 overs.

Earlier, the sensational spin duo of Abrar Ahmed and Zahid Mahmood bundled up the English batting lineup only on the score of 281 runs in 51.4 overs. The Karachi-born young debutant scalped seven wickets by conceding 114 runs in 22 overs. Zahid Mahmood, who is playing in the second Test of his career also claimed three scalps including the likes of lower-order batters, Ollie Robinson, Jack Leach, and James Anderson.

The hosts are currently trailing by 174 runs in the first innings after the end of the first day’s play in Multan.
