Meanwhile, during the toss, a funny incident took place where MI skipper Rohit Sharma had a short fun time with PBKS skipper Shikhar Dhawan. Both looked chill during the toss and were continuously laughing throughout their conversation. However, after winning the toss, Rohit asked Dhawan, what should he choose to do.

However, Dhawan revealed that he'd have also chosen to bowl as he thinks the wicket won't change much in the 2nd innings. However, he also mentioned that they will look to amass a big total to put pressure on MI when they will come to chase in the 2nd innings.

"We would have bowled first. I feel the wicket looks good, it's not dry, and won't change much. It's good to bat first and post a big total, looking forward to it. We keep the energy calm and relaxed. Mentally you need to be relaxed, as a leader I need to make sure of it."
