Following this swashbuckling knock from the Mumbai batter, social media was filled with thrilling comments and appreciation from the fans. In the same series, Virat Kohli also happened to heap praise on the 32-year-old batter.
Kohli commented in Marathi on the post uploaded by SKY on his Instagram handle after the conclusion of the match. “2/2 IN,” read the caption of the post from Surya.
Kohli took no time in coming up with a comment, “Manla re bhauuuuu (acknowledged brother)” on the post. Later on, SKY also replied to this comment from his former skipper and fellow teammate with, “Bhau (two fire emojis)”
