Veteran Bollywood actress and former Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma has recently shared a glimpse of her look from the upcoming movie ‘Chakda Express’. This movie is basically the biopic of former Indian women’s cricket captain Jhulan Goswami. Anushka Sharma is playing Jhulan in this movie.

The movie is being made by filmmaker Prosit Roy who wanted to show the journey of the legendary Indian pacer to the World Cup final. Notably, Jhulan has also played an inspiration for the upcoming sports drama on Netflix.

Coming back to Anushka Sharma, then she captioned her post as “Here’s a glimpse into the Chakda ‘Xpress journey with our earnest director @prositroy.”

The video went viral on social just within a few hours of being uploaded, it received views of almost up to eight lakhs along with two lakh likes. Whereas people also commented on the video with their different reactions.

Anushka’s husband and former Indian skipper Virat Kohli also reacted to the video and commented a heart emoji in the comment section. Legendary pacer Jhulan also commented herself on the video, her comment was also similar to that of Kohli.

Earlier this year in the month of January, Anushka announced the film to the fans with a teaser. She wrote: “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket.”

Speaking of Jhulan Goswami, then she is all set to say goodbye to international cricket after playing for India for almost two decades. She has recently missed the Women’s Challenger Trophy this year. Later on, she went to Bengaluru’s National Cricket Academy to recover from the injury she sustained during India’s last match of the league stage against the South African women’s side in the Women’s World Cup of 2022.
