Be it a fan or any other person in the Indian cricketing fraternity, nobody is unacquainted by the fact of how much Virat Kohli adores his former captain and two-time World Champion skipper MS Dhoni. The 34-year-old has shown it several times with his posts for MS Dhoni on social media.

Recently, Kohli has done a similar which can be seen in his recent hilarious Instagram story where he mentioned MS Dhoni in such a way that it drew the attention of Indian cricket fans.

Kohli spotted the 41-year-old’s picture on a water bottle and the former took no time in showing his love and respect for the latter.

“He’s everywhere. Even on the waterbottle @Mahi7781,” wrote Kohli in his Instagram story with a photo of MS Dhoni in the wrapper of a water bottle.

Earlier this year, the highest run-scorer of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 also claimed in a press conference that it was only Dhoni who contacted him when he left the Indian team’s Test captaincy.

“When I left Test captaincy, I received a text from only one person that I have played with earlier, and that is MS Dhoni," said Kohli in the aftermath of the Asia Cup 2022 match between India and Pakistan.

Subsequently, Kohli also opened up about the text Dhoni sent him after and also the impact of that on personal grounds.

“The only person who has genuinely reached out to me has been MS Dhoni. And for me that is such a blessing to know that I could have such a strong bond and such a strong relationship with someone who is such a senior to me where things are, it is a friendship that is based on a lot of mutual respect," said the veteran of 71 international centuries during a conversation in a podcast of Bangalore franchise.

“It is one of the things he mentioned in the same message reaching out to me, that when you are expected to be strong and looked at as a strong individual, people forget to ask how are you doing? So, it hit home to me, it was like this is it,” he added later.
