India and Australia locked horns in the second of the three-match T20I series. The rain and wet outfield forced us to reduce the match up to eight overs. Indian skipper won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first on the turf of Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. Speaking of the match, then Virat didn’t have an impressive outing in the second T20I against Australia. He could score only 11 runs off six balls with two boundaries for India while chasing the target.

Other than this, skipper Aaron Finch’s 31 off just 15 balls with four boundaries and a six alongside a blistering knock of 43 runs off 20 balls with four boundaries and three sixes from Matthew Wade helped the visitors to post a total of 90 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Thanks to the brilliant knock of 46 run off just 20 balls from the skipper Rohit Sharma, India chased down the target in 7.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Sharma smashed four boundaries and the same number of sixes to win the player of the match award. Now both teams will face each other in the series decider in the third T20I of the series.
