UAE are all set to take on Nepal in the series. This match will be hosted at the Dubai International Stadium, in Dubai. As both teams have been in fairly decent form of late, their clash promises to be a mouth-watering contest.

UAE are currently placed second on the points table for World Cup League 2. They have won eight out of their 15 games, and are on 18 points. On the other hand, Nepal are languishing at the seventh spot. They have won five out of their nine games.

It is to be noted that both teams are coming off a victory of their previous encounter. While the Ahmed Raza-led side beat PNG in a rather comfortable manner, Nepal beat the same side but unlike UAE, they had a close contest. They defeated them with four balls to spare and had to go out of their comfort zone to chase a modest total of 204.

The Sandeep Lamichhane-led side will have to be at their best if they are to beat the host team. A win over here for either of the two teams could significantly boost their confidence. It will be exciting to see which team ends up coming on top on Friday.

Pitch Report:

The conditions in Dubai are expected to remain the same throughout the day. The batters can play a bit more freely. However, the spinners could get more turn and thus, the middle overs are going to be crucial for both teams.
