Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are currently in the fourth spot in the table of the ongoing IPL. KL Rahul and his men have won four games so far in seven matches. Now, they will be in action again against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on 28 April 2023. But, LSG are currently missing the services of Mark Wood.

As of now, he has played four matches and taken 11 wickets. But, Wood has already missed matches after being down with flu. So, all eyes will be on him whether he plays against PBKS or not. But, now a video has gone viral where Mark Wood was seen using the Lucknowi accent while speaking.

LSG posted the video on their official Twitter account with the caption: “Raftaar Bhaiyya Lucknawi”. Speaking of the video, Wood was seen speaking some words using the Lucknowi accent. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. However, recent reports have come out that Mark Wood might miss the final stages of IPL 2023. He will attend the birth of his daughter in late May. Wood and his wife, Sarah are expecting their second child. However, in their last game against Gujarat Titans (GT), LSG suffered a shocking loss while chasing 136 runs.

Skipper KL Rahul was totally surprised with the result and said: “I don't know how it has happened. It happened too fast. I can't put a finger on where we let the game slip, which was in our pocket. We were quite brilliant with the ball and in the field. 135 is probably par or 10 under par. We used the conditions well. We started pretty well with the bat too. I still can't say what happened. At the end of the day it is just a game, we still have four wins in seven, but this is going to sting for a while. We missed some boundary opportunities in the end. We should have got it done.”
