Just a few days back, Chahal happened to do a stint as a reporter when he took the fans on a virtual tour of the Indian dressing room. Subsequently, skipper Rohit Sharma made a short appearance in Chahal’s video and said laughingly, “Sahi hai Tera future, (Your future is bright).

Recently, the 32-year-old Haryana spinner did the same sort of thing by sharing a gender-swapped picture of his teammate Kuldeep Yadav. This story from Chahal has left the fans in splits as it was something they could’ve expected only from him. The picture was clicked on the flight while the men in blue were traveling to Indore for the third ODI against New Zealand.

Talking about cricket, Chahal was last seen in action during the three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka. Whereas, he hasn’t got a chance to feature in the ongoing three-match ODI series against the Kiwis so far.

Rohit Sharma’s men will take on the visitors in the third and last of the three-match ODI series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

Earlier, the hosts have already taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series with two straight wins in the first Hyderabad ODI followed by the second ODI in Raipur.

Following the conclusion of this three-match ODI series against New Zealand, team India will face them in the upcoming three-match T20I series starting on Friday, the 27th of January. Notably, the team will play under the captaincy of stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma.
