5 Kieron Pollard (3412 runs)

The allrounder was bought by the Mumbai Franchise in the 2010 edition for a whopping 2.2 million dollars. Pollard has never looked back since then and played a pivotal role in five title victories of the franchise. The West Indian has scored 3412 runs in 171 innings at an average of 28.67 and a strike rate of 147.32. He has 16 fifties and 223 sixes to his name.

4 Shane Watson (3874 runs)

The Australian all-rounder has one of the most successful careers in the league’s history. He has amassed 3874 in 141 innings at an average of 30.99 and a strike rate of 137.91. Watson has scored 21 half-centuries and 4 hundreds while also smashing 190 sixes in his career. He spent a big part of his Indian T20 League career playing for the Rajasthan franchise and then shifted to Bangalore for a few seasons. In his final three seasons, from 2018 to 2020, Watson played for Chennai and won them the final in 2018.

3 Chris Gayle (4965 runs)

Considered the King of T20 cricket, Gayle has ruled the Indian T20 League with his stupendous performances one season after another. The southpaw has won the coveted orange cap for finishing as the highest run-scorer of the season twice in the league’s history. He has scored 4965 runs in 141 innings at an average of 39.72 and a strike rate of 148.96. Gayle has 6 hundreds and 31 fifties to his name and he smashed the ball out of the boundary a whopping 357 times. He also holds the record for the highest-ever individual score in the history of the league i.e 175* off 64 balls.

Despite having a below-par career in T20Is, Mr 360 always performed to the expectations of his fans in the Indian T20 League. He put up his mind-boggling strokeplay on display on numerous occasions and clobbered 5162 runs in 170 innings at an average of 39.70 and a strike rate of 151.68. Bowlers have been on the receiving end of De Villier’s wrath on several occasions as he scored 40 fifties and three hundreds in his Indian T20 League career. He also hit 251 sixes in his illustrious career.

The Australian opener has been one of the most consistent performers in the league in the past seven years winning the orange cap a record-breaking three times. The southpaw led the Hyderabad franchise to title victory in 2016 and was also the second-highest run-scorer of the season with over 800 runs to his name. Warner has 5881 runs to his name at an average of 42 and a strike rate of 142.69. The 36-year-old has scored a record 55 to his name and four hundreds as well.
