Chris Jordan has been in and around the Indian T20 League for quite some time now. He has played for four franchises namely Bangalore, Hyderabad, Punjab and Chennai. In the mega auction last year, he was bought by the Chennai franchise for INR 3.60 crore. He was picked to address Chennai’s death bowling woes but he did not deliver the goods.

He did not look in sync in the last edition as he picked up just 2 wickets from four matches and also they came at a very expensive economy rate of 10.52. In the 20-20 World Cup 2022, he picked up 5 wickets from two matches including 3 wickets in the semi-final against India. His recent form can help him get back into the Indian T20 League with a hefty contract.

2. Adam Milne

Adam Milne has played in the Indian T20 League for three franchises namely Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore. He is someone who can bowl thunderbolts with the new ball. Of late, he has suffered with injuries and that could be one of the reasons why franchise hesitate to go after him. He was brought for 1.90 crore in the 2022 Indian T20 League mega auction.

It was not a happy signing for Chennai as he only bowled 15 balls before he was ruled out of the 2022 edition due to a hamstring injury. The management of Chennai have decided to let him go as he did not fit into the plans of the franchise. Nevertheless, he will still be in demand as he is capable of bowling between 140kmp/h to 150kmp/h.

3. Narayan Jagadeesan

Narayan Jagadeesan, the new kid on the block, has made heads turn this year as he has had an outstanding season at the Vijay Hazare Trophy where he made five centuries in his List A career and he became the first Indian to do so. He also scored 799 runs in the 2022 edition of the Vijay Hazare. He is an opening batter who can keep wickets.

Jagadeesan was a part of Chennai since 2018. He will be hot property at the auction as franchises will be looking at the young man who can bat at the top and keep wickets. Moreover, he is an Indian so it will not affect the balance of the side in terms of overseas players.
