'This is not true' - Fans not buying Chennai's statements on relations with Ravindra Jadeja

It seems like nothing is going well between all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and the Chennai franchise in the Indian T20 League. Recently, he deleted all the franchise-related posts from his Instagram account. Notably, this isn't the first time the rumours of a rift between Jadeja and the franchise have surfaced. During the 15th season when the all-rounder was removed from the captaincy, it was reported that something is not right.

After a while, he got injured and was ruled out for the rest of the season. At that time, it was reported that the franchise and the player had an argument. However, the rumours were refuted by the franchise. A few months after that, the Saurashtra player has given a new life to the rumours with his recent activities. In reply, the franchise officials have maintained that everything is fine.

"See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong," a franchise official was quoted as saying by DNA India.

However, the fans are not ready to buy the statement. They feel that pretty much the same statements were given for Suresh Raina after the 2020 incident. For the unversed, ahead of the 2020 Indian T20 League, the left-hander wasn't happy with his room. After a while, he pulled out of the season. These created rumours of the rift between the four-time winners and the player.

However, the franchise maintained that everything is fine and retained the former India player for the 2021 season. This year, the two-time World Championship winner went unsold and the fans were angered by the development. Once again, it could be a case of the 2013 Champions Trophy winner to be released from the team if there is a rift. The fans feel the same and it could be the end of the road for Ravindra in the Yellow Army.
