Swiggy's heartfelt note for Virat Kohli will make your day

India Test skipper Virat Kohli stunned the cricket fraternity after quitting Test captaincy. Kohli, who was India's all-format captain just a few months ago, now will only play as a batter. Kohli has been India's most successful captain thus the call to quit leadership was baffling, especially when he had already let go of the limited-overs leadership.

Kohli led India in 68 games, winning 40 of those. He made India a ruthless unit that was a force to reckon with in any condition. He led India to twin series wins in Australia, won matches in England, South Africa. He also made India the No 1 ranked Test team in the world and led it to the finals of the Test championship. After such monumental achievements, his captaincy stint ended on a sour note. Notably, Kohli was recently stripped off the ODI captaincy and many, including Sanjay Manjrekar, believe that he feared that BCCI might sack him from Test captaincy as well which is why he resigned himself.

Meanwhile, the cricket fraternity lauded the skipper for his contributions. Now, Swiggy, a prominent food delivery app, has also paid their tribute to the former Indian skipper.
