India and Sri Lanka are locking horns in the third and last of the three-match ODI series at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The men in blue have made a change in the playing XI as they benched Umran Malik and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya. also given a chance to Suryakumar Yadav and Washington Sundar in the playing.

Apart from that, the management once again ignored the young wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan from the playing XI. The 24-year-old is the same batter who smashed the fastest ODI double century during the third and last of the three-match ODI series.

This decision from the selectors didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans. They took to Twitter to lash out at the Indian Cricket Board and the management.

Speaking of the match so, the hosts’ skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first, India has scored 42 runs for no loss in 5.5 overs so far. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma are there in the middle with individual scores of 25 and 9 runs respectively.
