Finally, former Indian skipper and legendary wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni have ended the suspense that was building up for the last couple of days among the Indian cricket fans. Dhoni revealed in a press conference that he is going to feature in a new advertisement for a brand of biscuit. Having a huge fan following, Dhoni opted to keep his fans in suspense when he announced that he’d be announcing something in a live session.

Dhoni shared the news about his live session with a Facebook post. Although, this revelation from MS didn’t go down well with the fans and they went on to express their disappointment over the social media platform Twitter.

Here’s how fans reacted to Dhoni’s new advertisement for the biscuit brand:

Notably, a video has also gone viral over social media, in this video, Dhoni can be seen in a conversation with a reporter. He called a reporter on the stage and told that when India won the World Cup 11 years back in the year 2011, then it was also the year when the same biscuit brand was launched.

"This year we have one more World Cup. And if the biscuit brand can launch again, then India can win the Cup again,” said Dhoni.

"I'm bringing 2011 again because to create history, we need to recreate history,” he added later.

Speaking of the 41-year-old’s achievements for the Indian cricket team, then he has won all major international tournaments for India under his leadership. India won the 2007 20-20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy under Dhoni’s captaincy.

He will be seen in action once again for the Chennai franchise as captain in the 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League. It has already been confirmed by the franchise and the management that the legendary skipper will be a part of the plans for Chennai in the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League.
