After taking a brief break during the ODI and T20I series between India and New Zealand, India's captain Rohit Sharma is ready to resume his duties when Team India takes on Bangladesh in a three-match ODI and two-match Test series beginning on Sunday, December 4. Before the opening ODI of the series at Dhaka's Shere Bangla National Stadium, the Indian cricket team is working out hard in Bangladesh.

India's captain shared a few images from the practice session on Instagram, where his wife Ritika Sajdeh hilariously trolled him. Four images from the training session were posted by Rohit with the caption "Back in action."

He can be seen enjoying himself with teammates, playing football, and resting in these photo collections. His wife said, "The third picture wasn't so action-packed," pointing to the third image where Rohit was seen relaxing.

There was hardly any attention paid to ODI cricket because of the 20-20 World Cups in 2021 and 2022. But with the ODI World Cup in 2023 coming up in less than a year, the format appears to have suddenly gained significant importance in the eyes of teams and fans.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul are back as India prepare for the challenge from Bangladesh in the series opener on Sunday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur, Dhaka after a young team went to New Zealand and lost the only ODI of the series with the next two matches being affected by rain.

The top three will once again be Rohit, Shikhar Dhawan, and Kohli for the ODIs against Bangladesh. The trio has played together in just 12 ODIs since the 2019 World Cup. It's unclear whether Rohit and Dhawan, India's opening pair, will be able to get off to a fast start in the first ten overs and whether Kohli will be able to continue his hot T20I form in a format where he has a history of dominating chases.
