He surpassed former Indian captain Virat Kohli by scoring his 27th fifty in the match against West Indies. The Indian captain has also scored four hundred in the format which is also a record.

Rohit is currently leading India in the five-match T20I series in the West Indies. India is leading the series 1-0 with the second match scheduled to be played on Monday, 1st August.
