The Mumbai franchise had a devastating season in the last edition of the Indian T20 League. They finished at the bottom of the table. It was quite shocking to see the most successful team of the tournament performing like that under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. In 2022, the franchise won just four out of 14 games.

So, Mumbai fans will look for a better tournament this time around under the guidance of the team India skipper. Now, on 24 March, the franchise released its new anthem for the upcoming edition of the tournament. Several players like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and others got featured in the video. Regarding that, fans came up and shared their views on the social media platform.

This season, Mumbai will hope for a better performance from their skipper Rohit Sharma, In the last season, he scored just 268 runs in 14 matches, at an average of 19.14. Ishan Kishan also failed to live up to the expectations as he scored 418 runs in 14 matches, at an average of 32.15. In that season, Ishan was the most expensive player as he bagged a whopping Rs. 15.25 crores. For this upcoming season, Mumbai spent Rs. 17.50 crore and acquired the service of the Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. However, they will miss the services of Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson as both the players have injuries. Mumbai have won five titles so far. So, this season, they will look for their sixth title.
