Rishabh Pant came up with a sensational century against a quality English attack in the rescheduled fifth Test between India and England. He helped India make a fighting total despite a poor start, and also brought out all the emotions among fans as well as the Indian dressing room.

While the rupture of joy among all Indian fans was a natural sight to see, the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid celebrating Pant’s century with both arms in the air reminded fans of Dravid’s funny avatar in an ad, and fans were quick to point that out.

For those who don't know, Indiranagar ka Gunda is Rahul's character from a famous ad that got viral last year. Rahul Dravid lives in Indiranagar, which is a residential place in the city of Bangalore and hence the 'Indiranagar ka Gunda' was smartly used to portray the Indian head coach.

Fans were quick to draw parallels between Rahul's character from the ad and his wild celebrations after Pant's century. Here are some tweets pointing that out.

Pant, who has been under the scanner for his recent struggles in the India- South Africa T20I series, came good with the bat and saved India from an early defeat in the fifth Test match. The keeper-batter scored a sensational 146 off just 111 balls to take the Indian team to a good total.

Twitter was soon flooded with ex-players and fans applauding the player in unison.

Pant also took to Twitter after the first day of the India- England Test to thank everyone who praised him for his great knock. Among his fans were Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and many others whom the southpaw thanked personally through his Twitter handle.

Ravindra Jadeja who also reached his century on Day 2 was instrumental in supporting Pant as well as getting India to a humongous score of 416 on Day 2. At the time of writing, India have dislodged two of England's wicket with Bumrah taking both the openers out of the equation. England are currently 31-2.
