Recently, the 36-year-old has recently made it to the headlines of social media for some of his tweets after the third and last of the three-match ODI series between India women and England women. It all started after the controversial dismissal of Charlotte Dean by Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma.

The incident took place on the fourth ball of the 44th over when Deepti was supposed to bowl the fourth ball of the over. But at the same moment, she found Dean outside the crease and took off the bails before completing the action. This attempt from Deepti left the cricketing fraternity with divided opinions.

Meanwhile, male cricketers of England James Anderson and Sam Billings took the shoulder of sarcasm to rant about the dismissal.

Here's what Billings and Anderson did:

Sam Billings posted a series of tweets on the same incident, and James Anderson joined him by replying, “Spot on. No intention of bowling the ball.” Billings didn’t stop here and came up with another reply to Anderson, “Imagine how many more wickets you could get James.” Although, it seems from the reply of Billings that in spite of being a cricketer himself, he isn’t aware of the fact that run-outs are not counted in the account of the bowler.

Then came the Indian version of sarcasm in the form of legendary all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin. He completely destroyed the rant of Anderson and Billings.

How about awarding that wicket to the bowler for “presence of mind” - Ravichandran Ashwin

“In fact, that’s a great idea. How about awarding that wicket to the bowler for “presence of mind” under immense pressure and of course knowing the social stigma that he/she would have to deal with post doing it. How about a bravery award to go with it too @ICC?” wrote Ashwin while he was making fun of the two English cricketers.
