The schedule for the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League has been revealed. The tournament will start on January 27, with the final to be played on February 27. The tournament was preponed to January due to Australia's tour of Pakistan in March next year.
The good news is that the upcoming edition will be played in Pakistan. The first leg of the tournament, which will be played from January 27 to February 7, will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi, while the remaining games will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
A total of six doubleheaders will be played in the season. In case of doubleheaders, the first game will be played at 2 PM local time, while the second game will start at 7 PM. On Friday, the doubleheaders will start at 3 PM and 8 PM respectively due to Friday prayer. In case of one game, all matches will start at 7:00 PM local time.
The tournament will follow the same template as last year. The playoffs will comprise two Qualifiers, one Eliminator and a Final. Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will cross swords in the first game of the tournament. The player draft will be held on December 12.
