But, now, according to Accuweather,  rain can interrupt the play for the next two days. However, there is a reserve day on 12 June. So, then, the match will be stretched on that day. But, seeing such a report, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. Speaking of the match, Australia batted first as Rohit Sharma opted to bowl first after winning the toss.

India were banking on another solid contribution from the lower order with the bat

Travis Head scored 163 runs off 174 balls, including 25 fours and one six. Along with him, Steve Smith scored 121 runs off 268 runs, including 19 fours. For India, Mohammed Siraj took four wickets along with both Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur took two wickets each. Then, India’s batters were in all sorts of trouble after losing their star batters like Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Virat Kohli cheaply. Ravindra Jadeja showed a little fight and scored 48 runs off 69 balls, including seven fours and one six.

On day three, Ajinkya Rahane and KS Bharat came out to bat. But, Bharat got out early to a peach of a delivery from Scott Boland. The ball disturbed his stumps by breaching his defence. Bharat scored just five runs off 15 balls. After that, Shardul Thakur came out and currently, India are 220 runs for six wickets in 52 overs. Rahane made an outstanding comeback and scored a fifty. He was batting on 65* runs off 102 balls while Thakur was batting on 23* runs off 53 balls. India were still trailing by 249 runs with four wickets in hand.
