In a recent piece of news, Pakistan has revealed its new jersey for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup 2022. The jersey has bit a of green color with shades of light green crosses over from up to the down area of the jersey. The picture of the jersey launch included the skipper Babar Azam alongside vice-captain Shadab Khan.

Young pacer Naseem Shah and two other women cricketers are also there in the picture of the jersey launch. The photos of the new jersey have been uploaded on the official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Super League Franchise Islamabad United.

Notably, the men in green had a commendable outing in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022 as they reached to the final of the tournament. But unfortunately, they lost to Sri Lanka in the final by 23 runs and missed the chance of winning the title for the third time in the history of this continental tournament.
They played two times against the arch-rivals India in the tournament and earned 50% results in their favor as they lost the first match and ended up on a winning note in the second clash during super-4.
Babar Azam & co will face the arch-rivals India once again in the first match of their campaign in the upcoming edition of the 20-20 World Cup. Other than the Indians, Pakistan will also lock horns with South Africa and Bangladesh in the group.
Pakistani team will surely be eyeing to end the drought of their title since the time when they became World champions 13 years back in the 20-20 World Cup 2009 under the leadership of former legendary batter Younis Khan.
