'One side domination' - Twitter elated after India's win in the second ODI against Zimbabwe

India and Zimbabwe locked horns with each other in the second of the three-match ODI series at Harare Sports Club. Indian skipper KL Rahul won the toss and elected to field first once again. Zimbabwean side could post a total of only 161 runs for the loss of all wickets in 38.1 overs.

While chasing the target, the men in blue also faced some trouble as they lost five wickets in the chase of 162 runs. But eventually, India won the match by five wickets and sealed the series with a score line of 2-0.

Batting first, the hosts lost the wickets at quick intervals and they were struggling at an instance after losing five wickets only on the score of 72 runs. Lower middle order batters Sean Williams and Ryan Burl somehow managed to play the knocks of 42 and 39 runs respectively.

Zimbabwe ended up on 161 runs after losing all the wickets in the 38.1 overs. Indian pace bowler Shardul Thakur scalped a maximum of three wickets for the team. Apart from him, all bowlers scalped one-wicket each.

While chasing the target, India had also a bad start as they lost their first wicket only on the score of five runs in the form of skipper KL Rahul. After that senior batter, Shikhar Dhawan and young lad Shubman Gill took the charge and both batters played the knocks of 33 runs respectively. But then, India got some quick blows and lost four wickets before they touched the mark of 100 runs.

Although, wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson held the one side calmly and scored crucial 43 runs. Eventually, he won the match for India with a massive six in the end. India registered a five-wicket win in the penultimate match of the series to take a winning lead in the series with a score line of 2-0.
