Former India skipper MS Dhoni will be turning 41 years old in the next four days. He was born on July 7, 1981, in Ranchi. Meanwhile, Dhoni has gone to London to celebrate his 41st birth anniversary along with his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni. Notably, the former India skipper played his last international game in the United Kingdom.

In the 2019 World Cup semifinal game against New Zealand, he tried his best to win the game but was run out and couldn't take the team over the line. Fans might remember Martin Guptill's direct hit on the stumps which ended India's hopes. The Ranchi player announced his retirement from the game in 2020 and also didn't play a game in between.

Almost three years after the ill-fated semifinal for the Men In Blue, the three-time World Championship-winning skipper has returned to the same country. The news was confirmed after his wife Sakshi uploaded a story on Instagram.

It is to be noted that the wicketkeeper batter was reported to have gotten treatment for his troubled knee from an Ayurveda doctor. This news got viral on the internet and the fans came up with mixed reactions.

Meanwhile, the 350 ODI-veteran is still playing the game even after retiring form International circuit. MS Dhoni is one of the most successful captains in the history of the tournament. In 2021, he won the trophy for the fourth time in his career. The 90-Test player has already confirmed that he will  play next year as well and is hoping to play some games in Chennai.

"Definitely, I will play next year. It would be unfair to not play in Chennai. It won't be nice to the CSK fans. Whether 2023 will be my last year or not, that is something we will have to see," said Dhoni.
