India won the second and last T20I match against Ireland by four runs in Dublin on Wednesday. Their captain Hardik Pandya chose to bat first, and his batters proved his decision right by putting a mammoth total of 225/7 on the scoreboard. Deepak Hooda, playing in the number three position, scored his maiden T20I century and Sanju Samson smashed his first fifty while opening an inning.
It looked like a big target for the hosts and Indian fans relaxed over a thought of a big win. However, the Irish batters smashed Indian bowlers from the start and dominated the match till the last moment. But they failed short of four runs while chasing 17 runs in the last over bowled by Indian speedster Umran Malik.
India made two changes to their bowling unit for the second match. Young spinner Ravi Bishnoi came in for the first match's hero Yuzvendra Chahal and pacer Harshal Patel replaced Avesh Khan. Surprisingly, there was no place for the uncapped left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, who was part of five-match T20I series against South Africa as well.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 18 runs, all from the boundaries, in the first over and Ireland went on to score 73/1 in the powerplay overs. Harshal Patel then bowled the fifth over and conceded 15 runs with Andy Balbirnie hitting two sixes on the last two balls. Harshal was the highest wicket-taker against South Africa with seven wickets in four innings at an impressive economy rate of 7.23, but he conceded 54 runs in his four overs spell against Ireland on Wednesday, which triggered fans' criticism towards the player.
Harshal has taken 19 wickets in 14 T20I matches at an impressive average of 20.47 but a worrying economy rate of 8.61. He is closing on 100 Indian Premier League wickets but at an economy rate of 8.39, not a good number for a player of his stature.
India celebrated a win but this was far from a good performance by the bowlers. Indian bowlers managed to take just nine wickets combined in this two-match series. Fans of the world's number one T20I team took no time to troll them on social media for their performances against the 14th-ranked Ireland.
Thus, the Fans took to Twitter to troll Harshal for conceding 54 runs off his 24 balls and said a great knock by death over specialist. One fan questioned his place in the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia and said that he won’t perform against the likes of England and Australis if he can’t bully Ireland.

Harshal Patel is easily the most overrated player I have ever seen in Indian Jersey

God knows how is he even playing at this level
A minor point of concern is Harshal not getting his dip right this match. Bowled around 8-10 full tosses today.

If he can't bully Ireland with pace, he sure as hell can't bully Australia, SA, England, etc...

Harshal agar aisi bowling RCB me daalta to him and Siraj this year would have been greater brothers of destruction than ABD-Kohli for RCB.

Jadeja has never concede more than 50 runs in his 58 match career of t20i, and Harshal Patel has concede more than 50 runs twice in 14 match career ,but but Jadeja is not a T20 bowler and Harshal Patel is a t20 specialist bowler.
