Arjun Tendulkar has attracted the eyeballs of the cricketing fraternity with a sort of bating heroic in his Ranji Trophy debut similar to his father and former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar. Arjun smashed a ton on his debut in First-Class cricket in a match against Rajasthan on Wednesday, the 14th of December.

Notably, Goa and Rajasthan are locking horns with each other in the Elite Group C of the Ranji Trophy 2022. Both teams played this match at the Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground in Porvorim.

The 23-year-old young all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar scored 120 runs off 207 balls with 16 boundaries and two sixes to his name. Eventually, his knock ended up when he was caught by Kamlesh Nagarkoti, the latter took the catch on his own ball.

Speaking of the match so far between Goa and Rajasthan, the visitors’ skipper Ashok Menaria won the flip of the coin and asked the hosts to bat first. The pair of Snehal Kauthankar and Suyash Prabhudesai stitched a partnership of 105 runs for the second wicket.

Apart from this, Suyash smashed a brilliant double century of 212 runs with 29 boundaries to his name. Other than this, Snehal also scored 59 runs followed by a brilliant ton by Arjun Tendulkar took Goa to a big total of 493 runs for the loss of eight wickets at the end of the second day’s play. Aniket Choudhary, Arafat Khan, and Kamlesh Nagarkaoti scalped two wickets each for Rajasthan in the first innings.
