Recently, Sanga has made it to the headlines of social media for his recent tweet when it was about to pick three players to fuse into one Meta 11 cricketer. Sangakkara’s response to one of the tweets of Meta 11 official has gone viral over Twitter within the minutes.

Picking his two favorite names, Sangakkara opted to go with the former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli and legendary South African cricketer Ab de Villiers as his choices. Although, the 44-year-old left the third spot free to add any player.

“Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers will be two of the 3 for sure. Leaves a free choice for the 3rd,” reads the tweet posted by Sangakkara on his official Twitter handle.

Here’s the tweet of Kumar Sangakkara:

Speaking of the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli, then he has recently impressed everyone with his amazing half-century knock of 63 runs against Australia. Kohli’s knock and his partnership with star batter Suryakumar Yadav helped India to register the six-wicket win against Australia in the final match of the three-match ODI series.

Kohli won the award of  ‘energetic player of the series after the conclusion of the match and series against the Aussies.

On the other side, the former Proteas legend Ab de Villiers broke the headlines of the media when he hinted to his fans about his comeback in the next edition of the Indian T20 League in 2023.

“I've heard that we've few games in Bangalore next year, so I would love to return to my second hometown. I'll be definitely around the IPL next year in whatever capacity,” said ABD in his statement a few weeks ago.
