Secretary of the Indian cricket board and ACC president Jay Shah is celebrating his birthday today. Many cricketers and administrators wished him on the occasion through social media. Former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli also took to Twitter for wishing Jay Shah a happy birthday.

Although, Kohli came on the receiving end of trolls after his tweet for Jay Shah. They took no time going after the senior batter and trolled him by mentioning one of the songs from the film of Anushka Sharma, Kohli’s wife, and Bollywood actress.

Speaking about cricket Virat Kohli, then he made his comeback in the form with the bat in the Asia Cup 2022. The 33-year-old smashed a swashbuckling century against Afghanistan in India’s last super-4 match in the continental tournament. He ended up in the tournament being the second highest run-scorer just behind the star Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan.

He ended up with his long wait of three years for the 71st international century since the last one he scored against Bangladesh in November 2019. The Delhi batter scored 122 runs off just 61 balls in the last match of India during Asia Cup 2022 after being eliminated with defeats against Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively.

He scored 276 runs in five innings of the five matches India played in the tournament with an average of 92.00 having a century and two half-centuries to his name.

Although, Kohli couldn’t deliver up to his caliber in the first of the three-match T20I series against Australia. Indian team posted a big total of 208 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. But eventually, India lost the match by four wickets due to the failure of the bowling attack in the death overs.

Kohli will be seen in action once again during the second of the three-match T20I series against Australia. Both teams will play this match in Hyderabad. Currently, the visitors are leading the series by 1-0.
