‘Isme mera pura ghar jaenga’ - Indian T20 League single match to cost 25 GB on JioCinema in 4K resolution

The 16th edition of the Indian T20 League is going to start on 31 March 2023. The schedule of the tournament came on 17 February. The Indian Cricket Board also confirmed that all matches will be played in 12 different venues this time around. In the last edition, only Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad were the venues.

Reliance's Viacom18 bagged the digital rights for Indian T20 League 2023-27. So, now, they came up with an announcement that the tournament will be streamed on JioCinema. Fans and JioCinema users can watch a match in 12 different languages which include English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, and Bhojpuri to name a few.

They also claimed that fans will enjoy the same features that they had used during the streaming of FIFA World Cup 2022 on JioCinema. Fans can switch multiple camera angles during all the matches. However, JioPhone users can stream the Indian T20 League 2023 for free since the feature phone already supports JioCinema. Even, fans can enjoy all the matches in both 4K and full HD format. But, for that, a hefty amount needs to be paid by the fans. One match in full HD will cost around 12 GB. While one match in full 4K will cost around 25 GB. So, fans need to pay a hefty amount to buy such plans.

Speaking about this upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League, a total of 18 double headers will take place. Day games will take place at 3:30 PM IST while the evening games will take place at 7:30 PM IST. The first double-header will happen on 1 April 2023 when Punjab will take on Kolkata in Mohali and Luckow will play against Delhi in Luckow. However, still, no schedule has been made for the playoffs and finals. Two groups have been considered. Mumbai, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Lucknow are in the Group A. On the other hand, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Punjab, and Gujarat are in Group B.
