Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play their next game against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing IPL on 18 April 2023. Both teams have won two matches so far in the ongoing tournament. So, both teams will look to continue their winning momentum, although SRH will get the home support at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Speaking about this rivalry, 19 matches have been played so far in IPL between these sides. In those games, SRH have won nine games while MI won the remaining 10 games. However, the pitch at this venue is known favourable to batters. So, a high-scoring affair can take place on 18 April.
Here are the possible three most run scorers in the SRH vs MI clash in IPL 2023
Harry Brook
SRH made headlines when they bought the star England batter for INR 13.25 Cr in the IPL 2023 auction. But, in the first three matches, he failed miserably and scored only 29 runs. So, SRH fans were not happy with such a start from Harry Brook. But, in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he smashed his first IPL century.
Harry Brook scored 100* runs off 55 balls, including 12 fours and three sixes. Since his introduction to the International arena, Brook has been a revolution with the bat for England across all three formats. Hence, after that century, he can score again big against MI in front of the home crowd.
Ishan Kishan
This star batter had a poor start to IPL 2023 until he played against KKR in the last game. In the first three matches, Ishan Kishan scored only 73 runs. But, against KKR while chasing 186 runs, he gave a blistering start to MI. He scored 58 runs off 25 balls, including five fours and five sixes.
So, fans will hope that Ishan Kishan can continue that form in the upcoming matches for MI. Speaking about this batter, MI bought him for 6.4 Cr in IPL 2018. Then, after the 2021 edition, they didn't retain him. But, during the IPL 2022 auction, MI bought him again for a whopping amount of 15.25 Cr.
Aiden Markram
This Protea batter has been enjoying good form with the bat in recent months across all three formats. So, when he came to lead SRH from their second game, fans were expecting big things from the skipper. However, it did not take long for him as Aiden Markram smashed a 26-ball fifty against KKR in the last game.
He smashed two fours and five sixes in that innings. Aiden Markram scored a golden duck in his first match of this season. But, in the second game, he scored 37* runs and then this quickfire fifty. Therefore, fans will hope for another blistering from the SRH skipper in the upcoming game against MI.
