Indian Premier League team, Sunrisers Hyderabad put together a strong team at the auction by using an excellent strategy. SRH were also regarded as favourites before the season's commencement by several cricket analysts. Unfortunately, as has been the case for several years, SRH have had a disastrous start to this season.

Here, we examine three potential causes for Sunrisers Hyderabad's adversity despite having a fantastic team:

1. Lack of clarity in roles

SRH has many right-handers on their roster despite having obtained quality picks in the auction. Before the start of the season, they cut Abhishek Sharma from the starting lineup against LSG. This has provided the opponents with several holes to exploit.

As Krunal Pandya and Amit Mishra wove a web around them, SRH's right-handers failed to stop the ball from twisting away. They will need to confront this truth right now, and they might consider using Washington Sundar as a floater to muddle the situation further.

2. Wrong utilisation of Impact Players

Aiden Markram, Harry Brook, and Adil Rashid are three foreign players who joined SRH this season, making them the second team to have three new overseas options. Together with Indian talents Mayank Markande and Mayank Dagar, the squad also possesses a variety of Impact Player alternatives in Heinrich Klaasen, Marco Jansen, and Fazalhaq Farooqi.

The early wickets lost, meanwhile, caused a commotion in the side, and Heinrich Klaasen padded up until the 18th over without being used in the last game. Farooqi was ultimately used as an impact player; however, due to the slowness of the surface, SRH could have used one of the spinners, Mayank Markande or Mayank Dagar. Aiden Markram must take command of this ship immediately because there are no other options.

3. Terrible Top Order Players

There is enough firepower in the ranks—Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Harry Brook—but these players haven't yet made an impact. Against LSG, Sunrisers preferred to start Anmolpreet Singh and bench Sharma. They could use this strategy again and allow Rahul Tripathi and Mayank Agarwal the freedom to pursue bowling immediately.

The middle order has depth and skill in Brook and Markram, so the openers shouldn't fall behind. Washington Sundar has improved as a batter, and he ought to be used much better in the games to come. Abdul Samad is in fine form and may serve as the team's designated finisher.
