IPL 2020: Aakash Chopra makes his predictions for RCB vs CSK game

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a crucial game today, September 24, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Both teams had contracting outings in their opening game of the UAE leg. While RCB were humbled by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 9 wickets, CSK outclassed Mumbai Indians (MI) by 20 runs. There is a lot at stake for both teams in the match. While RCB would want to get back to winning ways, CSK would like to grab the top spot.

Cricket expert Aakash Chopra has made his predictions for the match. Chopra feels the game will turn out to be a run feast, adding that more than 10 sixes will be hit during the game. With short boundaries on either side, batters from both teams will fancy their chances of clearing the ropes multiple times. “10 plus sixes in the match,” Chopra was quoted as saying on his YouTube channel.

The former cricketer also opined that a total of more than 90 runs (combined) will be scored in the powerplay. “Powerplay overs to produce 90 plus runs,” Chopra said. Scoring at 10 runs per over may not be all that tough at a venue like Sharjah.

Chopra also backed the MS Dhoni-led CSK to beat RCB in the match. CSK outclassed the RCB in their previous encounter and as per Chopra, same would be the result of the match tonight as well. The Yellow Brigade are flying high after six wins in eight games. However, CSK doesn't have a record to boast about at this venue as they lost all the three games they played here in the last edition.
