Team India are currently busy playing the home T20I series against the Kiwis. However, Jasprit Bumrah failed again to get fit for the series. Even, reports have come out that Bumrah might be out of action from the whole Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to the injury. Currently, he is in National Cricket Academy for rehabilitation sessions.

Regarding his fitness, a senior Board official told InsideSport that Bumrah might make a comeback in the ODI series against the Aussies. He said: “As for Bumrah, it will take another month or so. We expect him to be fit before the ODI series against Australia. But it will depend on his progress. At present, he is not fit.”

Hence, fans have to wait for the home ODI series against Australia to see him making a comeback. But, now, the former Pakistan all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq claimed that Shaheen Afridi is a way better bowler than Jasprit Bumrah. He also claimed that Bumrah is a baby bowler and he could have easily dominated him. While talking to a local channel, he said: "Shaheen Afridi is way better than Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah is nowhere close to Shaheen's level." Razzaq even said to Cricket Pakistan: "I have played against great bowlers like Glenn Mcgrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him."

Speaking about both these bowlers’ careers, Shaheen Afridi has played 104 international matches so far for Pakistan across all three formats. He has taken 219 wickets so far. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah has played 162 international matches for the Men in Blue. He has taken 319 wickets so far across all three formats. However, Afridi last played for Pakistan in a T20I game against England on 13 November 2022. While Bumrah last played for India in a T20I game against Australia on 25 September 2022. Meanwhile, fans were not happy after such a comment from Abdul Razzaq and slammed him over social media platforms.
