The mini-auction for the 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League concluded in Kochi happened to be one of the most remarkable ones in the history of the tournament. In a major turn-around of things, the three most expensive picks ever in the tournament concluded only within the time of 30 minutes.

Young England all-rounder Sam Curran has become the most expensive player ever in the Indian T20 League as Punjab bought him for a massive amount of INR 18.50 crores. Curran was followed by young Australia all-rounder Cameron Green and veteran England all-rounder Ben Stokes who were sold for 17.50 and 16.25 crores respectively.

Although they were the overseas players who attracted the eyeballs of the Indian cricketing fraternity. But on the other hand, there were also a few Indian players who gained a lot during the mini-auction for the 16th edition of the cash-rich Indian T20 tournament.

Mukesh Kumar becomes the tops the list of gainers during the mini-auction:

The 29-year-old Bengal pacer Mukesh Kumar happened to gain the most among the Indian players. Delhi captains sealed the bid at INR 5.5 crores to pick the pacer in their squad. Mukesh was followed by the Uttar Pradesh pacer Shivam Mavi who gained 1500% in comparison to 2750% of Mukesh Kumar
