India and Australia are crossing swords in a three-match T20I series and the first one turned out to be a nightmare for the Men in Blue. The team looked clueless against the Baggy Greens' brutal attack and the skipper Rohit Sharma looked animated.
One could only expect Indian team management to make a few changes in the playing XI for the next match. We have handpicked three tactical changes in the playing XI that might prove worthy for India in the next game against Australia. The second match will be played at Nagpur on Friday (September 23).
Here are the three changes that India might make in the next match against Australia:
1) Rishabh Pant for Dinesh Karthik
Fans might not agree with the decision but India might need the services of Rishabh Pant. The player is a match winner and might help India at any given time. On the other side, there are a lot of cons to bringing in the player.
Considering the previous match, one could only predict that the southpaw might have made a difference. Dinesh Karthik, on the other hand, couldn’t contribute with the bat and failed to appeal behind the stumps at crucial times too. The Delhi batter might fill this void and help team India in crunch situations.
2) Deepak Chahar for Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The Rajasthan bowler has only been warming the bench of late and Rohit Sharma can gamble to bring the bowler in. Speaking of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the veteran pacer has been leaking runs in the death. Needless to say, the Meerut-born leaked runs against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the Super 4s round of the Asia Cup in the penultimate over.
The star pacer yet again leaked as many as 16 runs in the first T20I against the yellow brigade. Bringing in Deepak Chahar for Bhuvneshwar Kumar can be risky but might pay off in the death overs for India.
3) Ravi Bishnoi for Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal has not been in the best of forms of late. The player has struggled with the ball and he is not able to get back to his very best. Speaking of Ravi Bishnoi, the youngster can come in handy in the next match against Australia.
The Baggy Greens have not faced the Indian young leg spinner much and he might power right from the start. Ravi Bishnoi can be a worthy addition to the playing XI for India and a perfect trade for Yuzvendra Chahal.
