Sri Lanka and India are set to cross swords in the limited-overs series. The Men in Blue will take on the Lankan Lions in 3 ODIs and as many T20Is. India will be without the services of their key players who are in England for the five-match Test series against the ‘Three Lions’ and have sent a white-ball specialist team to the Island.

The team will be led by Shikhar Dhawan while Rahul Dravid will don the coach’s hat. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will look at this series as an opportunity to regain their lost pride. They suffered utmost humiliation on England tour but will be confident of their chances against a relatively inexperienced India. However, ahead of the series, they were dealt with a massive blow as their ace opener Kusal Perera was ruled out due to a shoulder injury.

India too are not short on quality with some very promising youngsters in the team. The series was set to get underway on July 13 but was pushed back to July 18 after Sri Lanka batting coach Grant Flower tested positive for COVID-19. Here is all you need to know about India’s tour to Sri Lanka
