Speaking of KL Rahul’s performance in the limited-overs series, he only had an individual score of 73 runs in the first match which saw India ending up on the wrong side of the match. It was a crucial catch drop from KL Rahul that happened to cost the match for the visitors.

Later on, he failed with the bat as well and couldn’t live up to the expectations. Notably, the regular vice-captain of India was also on the receiving end of harsh trolls for his poor performance in the 20-20 World Cup 2022.

He could score only two half-centuries and that too against lower-ranked teams like Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Apart from these two matches, Rohit Sharma’s deputy and senior batter failed to perform in the entire eighth edition of the tournament.

Interestingly, the Indian team will lock horns in the limited-overs series against Bangladesh starting from the 3rd of January next year.
