Although he has shown quite a bit of return to form in the ongoing three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.

The 30-year-old scored 39 runs in the first ODI and later on, he played a decisive 64-run knock in a tough and pressured situation to finish across the line for India. Rahul’s knock helped India to win the second ODI by four wickets and take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series.

However, Rahul faced 103 balls to score those 64 runs which drove fans once again to come up with some hilarious and funny memes to mock him.

Speaking of the match, the Islanders won the toss and decided to bat first. While chasing the target, the men in blue crossed the line in 43.2 overs by scoring 219 runs for the loss of six wickets courtesy of the 75-run partnership for the fifth wicket between KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya. Eventually, Rohit Sharma’s men won the match by four wickets to take a series-winning lead against Sri Lanka.
