We are talking about Rinku Singh, who has become the talk of the town for his quick batting display in the IPL in 2023.

For KKR, Rinku is regularly putting in a fantastic performance and has proved himself to be an excellent finisher for KKR so far this season. He has contributed numerous strong innings to the team's success and due to this, he has also added himself to the list of several renowned players who are known to be the world's best finishers, including the former legendary Indian captain MS Dhoni, because of his finishing skills.

In IPL 2023, Rinku has so far scored 137 runs while pursuing runs in death overs (16โ€“20) at a blazing strike rate of 224.5. He has joined the top five players who have scored the most runs in an IPL season while chasing runs in a single season with these numbers. The top spot on this particular list belongs to none other than Dhoni.

Meanwhile, Rinku spent precious time with Dhoni and took some advice from CSK skipper Dhoni after the clash between KKR and CSK. Rinku revealed the tips he got from the wicketkeeper-batter and said that Dhoni told him to don't think too much and just wait for the ball to decide his shot.

"He's the world's best finisher I just asked 'Bhaiya' what else I could do while I'm going to bat. He just told me don't think much, just wait for the ball and play according to it," Rinku was quoted as saying by India Today.

This season, Rinku has participated in 11 games and has amassed 337 runs at an average of 56.17 and a strike rate of 151.12. Two half-centuries have come out of his bat during this time. He has also hit 21 fours and 21 sixes at the same time, however, Rinku will play a crucial role in KKR's tough journey for the Playoffs' qualification.
