Chennai Super Kings (CSK) sealed their place in the playoffs of the ongoing IPL after winning against Delhi Capitals (DC) on 20 May 2023. With that win, they are now in the second spot with 17 points in 14 games. Now, they will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in the qualifier one at Chepauk.

However, a video went viral after the match where MS Dhoni was seen in an aggressive war of words with CSK’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. However, fans were not sure whether they were having some arguments over the completion of the game. Now, on 21 May, Jadeja came up with a cryptic ‘Karma’ tweet and fans shared their views on social media.

Speaking of the tweet, the post reads: ‘KARMA WILL GET BACK AT YOU, SOONER OR LATER IT SURELY WILL.’ However, Jadeja had a poor game with the ball against DC as he got smashed for 50 runs for one wicket in four overs. With the bat, he scored 20* runs off seven balls, including three fours and one six. Meanwhile, before this season, several reports were there that Jadeja could leave CSK and join another team in IPL. His social media activities also indicated the same to the fans. But, finally, he played for CSK only and has come up with some contributions so far, with the ball especially. 

In IPL 2023 so far, Jadeja has taken 17 wickets in 14 games while scoring 153 runs with the bat. After the win over DC, Dhoni said: “There is no recipe as such. You try to pick the best players and try to give them the best slot. You use them in the manner where they have most chances of succeeding and groom them in the areas where they are not as strong. If you are doing whatever is best for the team, it falls into line. The management has been great, including the support staff. They always keep telling us to not worry and to keep doing what we have been doing.”
