The star Indian batting sensation and the World number one T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav stunned everyone once again with an amazing century against New Zealand. The 32-year-old smashed 111 runs off just 51 balls with 11 boundaries and seven sixes to his name. Riding on his brilliant knock, the men in blue managed to post a total of 191 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Following SKY’s 360-degree showcase of shots during his mind-blowing century, the entire cricketing fraternity was in full awe of the Indian batting prodigy. The list includes the likes of former Indian skipper and Surya’s favorite batting partner Virat Kohli alongside some legendary names in the form of Sachin Tendulkar and former English skipper Michael Vaughan.
They all took to Twitter to lavish praises on the second-highest run-scorer in T20Is during the calendar year of 2022.
Here’s how the cricketing fraternity reacted to SKY’s amazing century:

Talking about the action of the second T20I between India and New Zealand, apart from Suryakumar Yadav’s century, young opener and wicketkeeper-batter, Ishan Kishan the only batter to cross the individual mark of 30+ runs. He played a knock of 36 runs off 31 balls with five boundaries and a six to his name.
Senior Kiwi pacer Tim Southee took a hattrick in the very last over of the match by scalping the wickets of skipper Hardik Pandya followed by Deepak Hooda and Washington Sundar in three consecutive balls. Other than him, Lockie Ferguson and Ish Sodhi also had 2 and 1 wickets, respectively.
While defending the target, the Indian bowling lineup bundled up the Kiwis only on the score of 126 runs in 18.5 overs. Deepak Hooda scalped four wickets by conceding 10 overs in 2.5 overs. Apart from Hooda, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Siraj also scalped two wickets each alongside one wicket each claimed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Washington Sundar.
Eventually, India won the match by 65 runs and took the lead of 1-0 in the three-match T20I series. Suryakumar Yadav won the ‘player of the match award for his mind-boggling century off just 49 balls.
